II. The aim of the research is to study alkaloids from the plants Dictamnus angustifolius, Ruta graveolens and Haplophyllum perforatum growing in Uzbekistan, to establish the chemical structures of new alkaloids using physical and chemical methods and to identify their biological activity.

  1. Scientific novelty of the study:

20 alkaloids - derivatives of furanoquinoline, modified furanoquinoline, dihydropyranoquinoline-4-one, pyranoquinoline-2-one and 7 coumarins have been isolated from plants Dictamnus angustifolius, Ruta graveolens, Haplophyllum perforatum growing in Uzbekistan;

for the first time, 2 new alkaloids angustinine and angucine were isolated from the roots of Dictamnus angustifolius, for which the structure of 7-(heptyloxy)-4,8-dimethoxyfuro-(2,3)-quinoline and 7-(p-tolylsulfonyl)-4,8-dimethoxyfuro-(2,3)-quinoline was established based on the study of spectral data and by X-ray, respectively;

for the first time, a new alkaloid dihydroflindersin was isolated from the seeds of the plant Ruta graveolens, for which the structure (2,2-dimethyl-4,6-dihydro-3H-pyrano[3,2-c]quinoline-5-one) was established;

for the first time, based on the analysis of 1H and 13C NMR spectra, as well as DEPT, HSQC and HMBC experiments, the structure of a new modified furanoquinoline alkaloid perfirine isolated from the seeds Haplophyllum perforatum, was established as 3,4,5,6-tetrahydro-7-methoxy-2,2-dimethyl-2H-furo[2,3-b]pyrano[3,2-h]quinoline;

for the first time, the spatial structure of the alkaloid ribalinidine and coumarin rutarin was established by X-ray diffraction analysis.

IV. Implementation of research results. Based on the alkaloids of Dictamnus angustifolius, Ruta graveolens and Haplophyllum perforatum plants obtained during phytochemical studies, the following implementations were made:

The data of the X-ray diffraction analysis of the angucine alkaloid are registered in the International Structural Database (The Cambridge Structural Database, https://www.ccdc.cam.ac.uk/structures/) under the number CCDC 1982366. As a result, it is possible for scientists of the relevant industry to use data on the structure, nature, and intermolecular interaction of related alkaloids obtained by the X-ray diffraction;

The results of the dissertation research were used in the foundation grant No. VA-FA-F-6-010 (2017-2020) "Heteroatoms in natural compounds: intermolecular interactions, receptor recognition, pharmacophores" (Certificate of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 4/1255-1088 dated May 22, 2023). As a result, the alkaloids angucin, ribalinidin and coumarins rutarin, kxanthotoxin, isopimpinellin isolated from plants Dictamnus angustifolius and Ruta graveolens were used as scientific objects of research;

The results of the analysis of the chemical composition and biological activity of alkaloids and coumarins of plants Dictamnus angustifolius, Ruta graveolens and Haplophyllum perforatum were used in the Budgetari Institution of Higher Education «Surgut State University» of the Russian Federation in the applied project «Technologies for growing and extracting biologically active compounds of northerm berry crops and medicinal herbs (UgraBio Pharm)», and also in the educational process at the departments of Chemistry, biology and ecology in the preparation of diploma and term papers of master's degree students in 2021-2023 (certificate of Surgut State University dated December 22, 2023 No. 03-01/296). As a result, it is possible to compare the chemical composition and biological activity of plants and analyze the results of the project.
