II. The aim of the research is to study the aerial parts of D. leptocarpum, D. paradoxun, growing in the flora of Uzbekistan, the aerial parts and family composition of the cultivated plant D. ajacis, determination of alkaloids, polysaccharides, proteins, lipids, macro- and microelements in these plants.

  1. Scientific novelty of the study:

for the first time have been studied alkaloids, proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, as well as macro- and microelements of the aerial parts of the plants D. leptocarpum, D. paradoxun, growing in Uzbekistan, as well as the aerial parts and seeds of the cultivated plant D. ajacis;

for the first time, a method was recommended to prevent the formation of emulsions during the extraction of diterpene alkaloids;

proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, macro- and microelements of selected plants were analyzed, similarities and differences between primary and secondary metabolites in plants were identified;

in total, 17 alkaloids were individually isolated from plants, 15 of them were isolated for the first time from the plants studied, 2 of them turned out to be new;

the structure of the new alkaloids leptanine and paradoxine was proven using physicochemical methods (IR, 1D, 2D NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry and X-ray diffraction) and it has been established that, in terms of its chemical structure, the alkaloid leptanine belongs to the hethidin type, and the alkaloid paradoxine belongs to the hethidin type.

IV. Implementation of research results.

Based on the phytochemical analysis of plants D. leptocarpum, D. paradoxun, D. ajacis, and scientific and practical results on the study of the structure and biological properties of the resulting compounds:

the results of X-ray diffraction analysis of the alkaloid leptanine isolated from a plant of the genus Delphinium were used in the project VA-FA-F-6-010 “Heteroatoms in natural compounds: intermolecular interaction, receptor recognition, pharmacophores”, and also, the biological activity of the extract and the sum of alkaloids was used in the scientific project VA-QXF-5-6-008 on the topic “Scientific principles of population management based on the study of the biological characteristics of the tomato moth (Tuta absoluta), which causes damage to crops belonging to the tomato family” (certificate of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 17, 2023 No. 4/1255-817). As a result, based on X-ray diffraction data, a complete analysis of the absolute configuration of the alkaloid leptanine was achieved, and the prospects for searching for insecticides among diterpene alkaloids and the sum of alkaloids isolated from plants were determined;

X-ray diffraction data from the leptanine alkaloid are included in the Cambridge Central Crystallographic Database (The Cambridge Structural Database, https://www.ccdc.cam, CCDC 1864536). As a result, new information included in the database allowed scientists to use it to fully characterize the structure of similar alkaloids;

the first isolated alkaloid leptanine is included in the reference book “The alkaloids: chemistry and biology” (X.Y. Liu, B.W. Ke, Y. Qin, F.P. Wang, 2022, Volume 87, Pages 1-360. https://doi.org/10.1016/bs.alkal.2021.08.001). As a result, the reference book has been enriched with new information and the opportunities for obtaining information for scientists in this field have expanded;

based on the research results, scientific articles have been published that have references in Scopus indexed journals with a high impact factor, such as RSC Advances, 2020, 10, 13669-13686, DOI:10.1039/D0RA00813C IF- 3.24; RSC Advances, 2020, 10, 35072-35089, DOI:10.1039/D0RA06811J IF- 3.24; J. Herbmed Pharmacol, 2021, 10, 486-499, DOI:10.34172/jhp.2021.56 IF- 1.84. As a result, it became possible for specialists to obtain additional information about the chemical composition of plants of the genus Delphinium.
