Information about the customer received from him or from other sources is also considered confidential.

In order to gain access to information necessary for the effective conduct of conformity assessment activities, the certification body must provide assurances that confidential information will not be disclosed.

All organizations and their personnel have the right to protect any proprietary information they provide, unless disclosure is required by law or an applicable certification scheme.

The certification body informs the customer in advance about the information that it intends to make available for public use.

If a situation arises (as required by law) when the Certification Body is required to disclose confidential information, the customer or interested parties will be notified of the information provided.
