A meeting on scientific cooperation with the delegation of Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia was held at our Institute.

An official visit of the delegation of the D. Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia to the Republic of Uzbekistan took place from March 16 to 21, 2026.

Within the framework of this visit, an official meeting was organized on March 17, 2026, at the Institute of the Chemistry of Plant Substances of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The delegation included Rector Professor Sergey Filatov, Head of the Rector’s Office Elena Dernovaya, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Dmitry Kadymov, and Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Terentyev, Director of the Zelinsky Institute of Organic Chemistry.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of scientific cooperation, implementation of joint research in organic chemistry and natural compounds chemistry, training of scientific personnel, and the establishment of academic exchange programs.

Specific proposals were also put forward for the implementation of joint scientific projects and further strengthening of scientific ties.

At the end of the meeting, the parties reached an agreement to expand mutually beneficial cooperation.
