Scientist of the Institute of the Chemistry of Plant Substances Awarded the “Mo‘tabar Ayol” Badge
Dr. Nazira Kudratovna Khidirova, Leading Researcher of the Department of Organic Synthesis at the Institute of the Chemistry of Plant Substances named after Academician S.Yu. Yunusov of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, has been awarded the honorary “Mo‘tabar Ayol” (Esteemed Woman) badge.

This prestigious award recognizes her many years of productive scientific activity, her contribution to the training of young researchers, and her significant role in the development of science and agriculture in the country.
Nazira Kudratovna Khidirova was born on November 6, 1956, in Tashkent. In 1980 she graduated with honors from Tashkent State University (now the National University of Uzbekistan) with a degree in Chemistry and Teaching. In 1995 she successfully defended her PhD thesis entitled “Isoprenoids of the leaves of Gossipium hirsutum L. and Platanus orientalis L.”

Throughout her career she has held various scientific positions at the Institute and currently works as a Leading Researcher in the Department of Organic Synthesis. Her research focuses on the chemistry of plant polyisoprenoids derived from local plant raw materials, their chemical transformations, the study of biologically active compounds, and the development of new preparations for agriculture and medicine.
As a result of her long-term research, the biostimulator “Uchqun”, which increases the productivity of agricultural crops, and the feed concentrate “Gossipren” for use in poultry farming were developed. These developments have been recommended for practical application by relevant state authorities. Currently, under her supervision, extensive studies are being conducted on a new insecticidal agent tentatively named “Haplocid” intended for agricultural use.
Dr. Khidirova is also actively involved in training young scientists. Under her supervision and co-supervision, a number of doctoral, master’s and bachelor’s theses have been successfully completed. She contributes significantly to the formation of a scientific school by encouraging young researchers and implementing modern scientific approaches in research practice.
Her scientific contributions are substantial. She is the author of more than 260 scientific publications, 8 patents, educational and methodological manuals, and various scientific developments. The results of her research have been published in reputable scientific journals and presented at international conferences and symposia held in the United Kingdom, the United States, Russia, Turkey, China, Poland, and other countries.
Currently, Dr. Khidirova also actively participates in the activities of the Institute’s Scientific Council, contributing to the development of postgraduate education and the training of highly qualified scientific personnel.
For her many years of dedicated service and scientific achievements, she has previously been awarded the “Mehnat Faxriysi” (Veteran of Labor) First Degree badge and the “30th Anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan” commemorative badge.

The staff of the Institute of the Chemistry of Plant Substances sincerely congratulates Dr. Nazira Kudratovna Khidirova on this prestigious award and wishes her good health, new scientific achievements, and continued success in her research activities.
