Biologically active compounds: From chemistry to medicine

We invite you to take part in the International Conference “Biologically active compounds: From chemistry to medicine”, devoted to the 70 - year Anniversary of the foundation of the Institute of the Chemistry of Plant Substances, Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which is one of the famous centers on the chemistry of natural compounds. Conference which will be held on October 7–9, 2026, in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. 

The platform of the Conference united scientists working in the fields of the fundamental and applied chemistry of natural substances, and also in medicine and healthcare.

The Conference topic includes the main directions of chemistry, medicinal chemistry, nanotechnology, pharmacology, as well as items connected to healthcare and prophylaxis of diseases distributed in the population.

The Conference work will be organized as «Opening», three sections, the “Round table” and exhibition:

The opening will include greetings and congratulations on the occasion of the ICPS anniversary and plenary lectures of the famous scientists.

1 Section. XVIth Symposium «Current problems of chemistry, biology and technology of natural compounds».

2 Section. Cooperation in cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases and Central Asian regional diseases prevention and control.

3 Section. Antiarrhythmic preparations – 40 years of allapinin use.

The «Round table» is a unique platform for broad discussion of current issues, the search for joint tasks, constructive solutions, and collaboration between science and business.

A specially organized exhibition will give to visitors the possibility to get acquainted with the products and developments of institutes and enterprises.

The conference program will include plenary lectures (20-30 minutes), oral presentations (10 minutes), and a poster session.

Applications for participation and one-page abstracts in English, prepared according to the attached template, must be submitted to the Organizing Committee by August 1, 2026, in RTF format via email.

Abstracts will be selected based on their relevance to the conference themes, the novelty of the material, compliance with submission deadlines, and the information provided in the participation application.

The official languages of the Conference are English, Russian, and Uzbek.

Decisions of the Organizing Committee regarding the inclusion of presentations in the Conference program, as well as further information, will be communicated to participants in due course.
