Lead organization: Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute.
Dissertation direction: theoretical and practical.
II. Target of the study.
Study of polyprenols and their modified derivatives from the leaves of Vitis vinifera L. family Vitaceae and determination of their biological properties.
III. Scientific novelty of the study:
First time, polyprenols(PP) from grape vines Vitis vinifera subsp. sativa (cultivated) and Vitis vinifera subsp. silvestris (wild) were studied in various regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan and as a result of their modification, 21 substances were obtained, of which 18 new.
Acylation reactions of PP with carboxylic acids and acid anhydrides were carried out under normal and microwave irradiation(MWI) conditions, while the reaction rate was accelerated by 25-90 times and the product yield increased;
Oxidation reactions of PP were carried out under normal and microwave irradiation conditions, the acceleration of reactions under the influence of microwaves was determined;
Alkylation reactions of cresolates with PP were found to regioselectively form o-alkyl products, regardless of the ratio of initial reagents. In the case of aluminum p-cresolate, 2,6-dipolyprenyl-4-methylphenol is formed due to the excess amount of PP.
The patterns of “structural and biological activity” of the obtined PP, polyprenylacetate (PPA), polyprenyl phthalate (PPP) and polyprenyl bromide (PPBr) were studied, as a result of which the series PPA>PPF>PPBr>PP was determined.
IV. Implementation of research results.
By studying Vitis vinifera L. polyprenols and their chemical transformations:
Organizational standard (OS 03535440-037:2020, 10.06.2020) and Technological instruction (TI 03535440-037:2020, 10.09.2020) were developed and registered in the relevant organizations for the biologically active additive “Vitaprenol” based on the leaves of Vitis vinifera L.. The results obtained made it possible to expand the range of domestic nutritious biologically active additives.
In the practical project №SA-2018-005 “Enrichment, preservation, reproduction and use in production of the gene pool of salt-tolerant plants” (2018-2020) of Gulistan State University, leaves of Vitis vinifera L. PPi and PPA, PPBr, PPF were used as stimulants to accelerate seed germination (Reference №.4/17-4/1-8078 dated November 21, 2023 of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan). The results made it possible to create tools to accelerate the germination of agricultural seeds in saline soils;
Spectral data, modification results and biological activities of PP isolated from the leaves of Vitis vinifera L. plant were used in foreign scientific publications included in the high ranking Scopus database (Fitoterapia, 2015. V.106. P.184. IF 3.204; Scientific Report 2021. V.11. IF 4.996; ChemChemTech 2022, V.65(3). P.100. IF 1.016). The research results make it possible to determine the structure and biological activity of new compounds obtained as a result of modification of natural compounds.
