II. The purpose of the study. Development of technologies for obtaining a dry extract containing the flavonoids quercetin-3-O-sophoroside and kaempferol-3-O-sophoroside from Rosa rugosa leaves, its finished dosage form, and evaluation of biological activity.

III. Scientific novelty of the research:

for the first time, the optimal conditions for extraction of the flavonoids quercetin-3-O-sophoroside and kaempferol-3-O-sophoroside from R. rugosa leaves were determined based on optimisation using single factorial experiments and the mathematical planning method;

for the first time, a method was developed for the purification of alcohol-water extracts of R. rugosa leaves from carbohydrates, which affect the quality of the final product, using adsorption resins;

for the first time, the technology of obtaining dry extracts of R. rugosa leaves with antioxidant, sedative and bone density-increasing effects was developed;

as a result of the determination of technological and structural-mechanical properties of the dry extract of R. rugosa, the composition of food supplements in the form of coated tablets was selected and the optimal technology of their production was developed;

qualitative and quantitative indices of R. rugosa dry extract and coated tablets based on it were established, the necessary normative and technical documentation was approved;

to establish the antioxidant, sedative and bone density-increasing effects of R. rugosa dry extract.

IV. Implementation of the research results.

Based on the scientific results of the development of a technology for obtaining a dry extract containing flavonoids from the leaves of Rosa rugosa, its finished dosage form and an evaluation of its biological activity:

the technological instruction TI 03535440-063:2024 "Dry extract Rosa rugosa leaf" was developed and approved by the Committee of Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan. As a result, it was possible to produce a dry extract of R. rugosa in the GMP Scientific and Technological Center of the Institute of Plant Chemistry, and its coated tablets in the GMP production system of China-Uzbekistan Medicine Technical Park LLC;

the data of the dissertation research were used in the Chinese research project No. 2023803001-1 "Development of basic technologies for the creation and large-scale production of standard chemical substances for ethnic groups" (reference from the Xinjiang Ethnomedical Engineering Centre of the Chinese Academy of Sciences dated 10/15/2024). As a result, the effective removal of flavonoids in adsorption resins was found to be promising.
