II. The aim of the research work is to develop a unified technology for the production of estrogenic substances based on complex esters of terpenoid alcohols from plants of the genus Ferula (family Apiaceae) and a technology for the production of anthelmintic substances based on sesquiterpene lactones from some plants of the Asteraceae family; research of waste generated during the production of developed technologies to create new biologically active substances; standardization of developed substances and plant materials used for their production.
The scientific novelty of the dissertation research is as follows:
based on one-factor experiments and optimization using the mathematical planning method, optimal conditions for the extraction of esters of terpenoid alcohols from four species of Ferula and sesquiterpene lactones from three species of plants of the Asteraceae family were established;
a method has been developed for removing associated substances that impart a green color from an aqueous-alcoholic extract from the aerial parts of the studied Ferula species by treatment with activated carbon and fractionation of esters of terpenoid alcohols and sesquiterpene lactones from associated substances in a liquid-liquid extraction system;
based on various types of drying, vacuum drying with the addition of auxiliary substances was proposed for esters of terpenoid alcohols and sesquiterpene lactones. Spray drying was proposed for an aqueous extract of polysaccharides from the aerial part of F. kuhistanica;
for the first time, a unified technology has been developed for the production of the estrogenic substances "Tenestrol", "Chimfestrol", and "Fangestrol" from the aerial parts of F. tenuisecta, F. tschimganica, and F. angrenii for use in medical practice, and the veterinary drug "Kufestrol" from the aerial part of F. kuhistanica to increase the egg productivity of birds;
based on sesquiterpene lactones from rhizomes with roots of I. grandis, aerial parts of T. pseudoachillea and A. annua, flavonoids from the roots of A. lehmannii, anthelmintic agents “Gelmintabs” and “Gelmintalem”, and technologies for obtaining their substances were developed for the first time;
for the first time, a technology has been developed for obtaining a prebiotic substance “Arbifilan” based on polysaccharides from the meal of the aerial part of F. kuhistanica, which allows for the rational use of plant raw materials;
the possibility of isolating lipids with wound-healing effects from the aerial parts of F. kuhistanica and essential oils with antioxidant effects from the aerial parts of F. tenuisecta has been proven;
methods for standardizing the developed substances and raw materials for their production have been developed, and the necessary regulatory and technical documentation has been approved.
IV. Implementation of the research results. Based on the scientific results obtained on the development of technologies for isolating substances from the objects under study:
a patent from the Intellectual Property Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan (No. IAP 05552, 2018) was received for the method of obtaining the substance “Tenestrol”. The results of scientific research made it possible to develop a new drug for the treatment of climacteric syndrome;
a patent from the Intellectual Property Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan (No. IAP 04422, 2011) was received for the method of obtaining the drug “Kufestrol”. As a result of the research, a drug was developed to increase the egg productivity of birds;
a patent from the Intellectual Property Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan (No. IAP 05484, 2017) was received for the anthelmintic property of the product from A. Lehmannii. As a result of scientific research, a domestic anthelmintic drug was developed;
a patent from the Intellectual Property Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan (No. IAP 05620, 2018) was received for a method for producing arabinogalactan, which has prebiotic activity. The results made it possible to rationally use the aerial parts of F. kuhistanica;
a patent from the Intellectual Property Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan (No. IAP 06990, 2022) was received for the method for producing igalan. The results obtained made it possible to standardize the antihelmintic drug “Gelmintabs”;
the standards of the organization Ts 03535440-009:2017 for the drug "Kufestrol" (registration No. 112/006543 dated 04.21.2017) and Ts 03535440-010:2017 for raw materials “Dried aerial part of Ferula kukhistani” were developed and registered in “O‘zstandart Agentligi” (registration No. 112/006544 dated 04.21.2017). The results of scientific research have made it possible to introduce a safe drug into poultry farming to increase the egg productivity of birds;
an organization standard (Ts 03535440-038:2020) for the dietary supplement “Gelmintabs” has been developed and approved. As a result of the research, it was possible to introduce a new biologically active additive with antihelmintic action;
an organization standard (Ts 03535440-031:2020) for water-soluble polysaccharides of Ferula kukhistani “Arbifilan” has been developed and approved. The results of scientific research made it possible to sell a substance with prebiotic action as a dietary supplement and bioreagent.
